Library, [11/17]

Okay, so Jono was a little late getting himself into the library today for his shift, what with having to travel back from Vail and all, but he showed up as soon as possible, considering.

So soon, in fact, that he still had his bag of laundry and his guitar with him, both of which were sitting behind the desk while he set to work, re-shelving books and silently, very silently, chuckling to himself.

Once again, it looked as though he'd gotten off easy today, didn't it?

"Is that a yes, then?" asked Ariel, trying to avoid figuring out what he meant by that. She would just chalk it up to the whole being a boy thing.

Really, that mostly was what he meant by that!

... Actually, he was maybe a little excited for the opportunity to just get out and do normal things.

Then the fact that Ariel gave the usual clapping "Yaaaay!" response to that probably didn't help with that.

"Great! When do you think you'll be free? When do you think I'll be back to normal?"

"It's a date, then!" Ariel called out happily.

Then pause.

"In the generic it's a date, setting-the-date-of-something way, that is."

She went back to awkward exceptionally well today.
