Library, [11/17]

Okay, so Jono was a little late getting himself into the library today for his shift, what with having to travel back from Vail and all, but he showed up as soon as possible, considering.

So soon, in fact, that he still had his bag of laundry and his guitar with him, both of which were sitting behind the desk while he set to work, re-shelving books and silently, very silently, chuckling to himself.

Once again, it looked as though he'd gotten off easy today, didn't it?

[Open library is just that! Open!]

"I can put up with it for a day," Henry decided. "Thank God Clare left some clothes at my place, or I'd be stuck."

"I woke up like this on the train back from Chicago," Henry said wearily. "I had to do some fast talking to convince the conductors not to throw me off."

"How was the trip?" he added. "Before people started waking up with interesting new parts."

"People throw money at you?" Henry guessed. He'd found Archive Monthly and was flipping through a fascinating how-to on perserving 19th century maps.

"Talent will out," Henry answered. "Besides, have you heard how bad most street musicians are? Probably people appreciated the lack of singing."

"See?" Henry said. "People were paying you not to sing. It's perfect."
