Okay, so Jono was a little late getting himself into the library today for his shift, what with having to travel back from Vail and all, but he showed up as soon as possible, considering.

So soon, in fact, that he still had his bag of laundry and his guitar with him, both of which were sitting behind the desk while he set to work, re-shelving books and silently, very silently, chuckling to himself.

Once again, it looked as though he'd gotten off easy today, didn't it?

//Mmm, yes, thank you,// Jono replied, dryly. //Now, perhaps you could be so kind as to educate me, me and my computer illiterate neanderthal ways.//

"Move," Sherlock ordered, breaking all protocol to get behind that damned desk.

//Um,// Jono replied, demonstrating his astounding skill with words as he blinked and stepped out of the way.

Sherlock sighed at how out of date the computer was, but bravely soldiered on by typing in Jono's password to gain access to the system.

"I don't see how this is so difficult. I was about your age in the 90s and I can do this easily."

//Mmm, yes. And you've got a decade and a half of experience on me, now,// Jono pointed out. //You grew up with th'technology. I just sort of stepped into it.//

With about the same amount of grace that most people had when they stepped in dog poo.

"And you have been here how long now?"

//A year.// Damn it. //And a few months.//

...

//Bollocks.//

At least Jonothon knew when he'd been beat.

Damn straight he did. "Do keep up."

Jono turned a withering sort of glare toward Sherlock for all of three seconds, and then crossed his arms over his chest and looked the other way.

//I'll work on that.//
