Loki wasn't showing any signs of wear from the conversation he'd had yesterday. Fuck that shit, he wasn't going to look like he'd been exhausted by some conversation that brought his past all the way back up again. He had a class to teach.

Said class was in the Danger Shop today, giving them access to what Loki needed them to have access to.

"So, we're all back," he said, giving them all a sarcastic round of applause. "Congratulations. Hopefully we'll have an easy class for you today. No, it's not a fucking movie. Being a badass isn't just adapting to the world around you. No, you've gotta fucking look the part. If you're gonna be going around in cut off jean shorts and a ratty old t-shirt, you'd better be willing to get laughed at or stared at because no one's really gonna think you're all that awesome. Yeah, you might be able to change minds once you prove yourself but first impressions are valuable and that kind of thing isn't gonna give you a great first impression."

Loki hit a few controls on the Danger Shop and brought them back to the large, expansive mall that had everything they needed.

"Today, you're shopping. Go find clothes. Go find clothes that you think make you look all badass and awesome. Find 'em, buy 'em, and come back and tell me why. That's all you gotta do. If I tell you I don't think it works, you can go back in and find something else. Have fun."

"Well, the scarves are good but you might wanna look for pants and a shirt to go with it," Loki said, raising his eyebrows. "You probably shouldn't go around flashing people in class."

"Well, no," Alexander agreed. "But there seem so many out there, in nearly every shop, that I...how do you know which ones? Will any work? They all seem mostly the same, with variations, of course, but how do you know you're choosing the right one?"

He shook his head. "I apologize for my ineptness in this matter, but it's all rather astounding. I've never imagined that so many of the same thing could exist, especially when it comes to clothes."

"It's fine," Loki said, shaking it off. "What you're gonna wanna look for is something comfortable but something that sets you a apart from others. Something that makes people notice you and take notice of you. Some people like to look dangerous, some people like to look slick. It's a personal opinion thing."

Alexander frowned; the last thing he'd want was for people to notice him; rarely in his experience had that been a good thing.

So he needed a moment longer to consider what Loki had said.

"I think," he offered, "I'd like to go with something...distinguished."

"Onward, then," Loki said, gesturing to the clothes. "Gotta be comfortable in your clothes to be confident."
