(([livejournal.com profile] philotejane could mock up a system for you. For a price. And she could even put some bugs in, on purpose, just for sadism's sake.))

((I'm stuck at the moment because of some character detail I need to have the mods approve. You can totally come into the office once I post. I have a feeling Methos and Jane would either hate each other or get along smashingly.))

Lee scoffs. "Well, it definitely weeds out the people who don't really care about what they're researching. Okay, where do I look in the catalogue? DO YOU KNOW YOUR DEWEY DECIMAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM!?" and you are mean. *sulks*

"Doesn't it?" asked Janet. "We actually have a computerized database, but it's only accessible from the library terminal. Why do you think we send everyone to the card catalog?"

Well squall, because I've been saying we do have a computerized catalogue, and they couldn't find the card catalogue. Is library geography going to have to be next on the list?

Oh, frell, we are so screwed royally, aren't we? It shifts randomly on any given day based on the mood of the librarian or the assistant currently working?

But yes, library geography is next on the list. *goes to start making notes*
