Study Hall -- Monday, October 24th

Sarah sits at the front desk, a large pile of romance novel notes school-related documents sitting in front of her. She occasionally glances at the stack thoughtfully as if she's trying to come up with an idea and failing miserably.

Instead, however, she's been drawing mushroom clouds on the blackboard. She appears to have had a lot of practice at it.

OOC: Give me a couple of days to finish the romance novel chapter, 'kay? Sarah and I are both having a bit of writer's block on the subject, but we should be fine. ;)

*comes in right near the end of, drops a box in front of Sarah, contianing a decorative dagger, then leaves again, appearing to be in a hurry*

Sarah looks down at the box, narrowing her eyes at it and poking it a couple of times with her chalk. Then she opens it, smiling before she can stop herself as she looks in the knife.

"Kid's got good taste," she says quietly, with a quick glance towards the door. If Jayne's trying to get on her good side, she thinks as she closes the box and goes to put it in her quarters, it's working.

(Although granted, not all that much, because this is Sarah we're talking about. But not getting a punch in the face from Sarah is pretty much the equivalent of a warm, overly long hug from anybody else, so there you go.)
