Study Hall -- Monday, October 24th

Sarah sits at the front desk, a large pile of romance novel notes school-related documents sitting in front of her. She occasionally glances at the stack thoughtfully as if she's trying to come up with an idea and failing miserably.

Instead, however, she's been drawing mushroom clouds on the blackboard. She appears to have had a lot of practice at it.

OOC: Give me a couple of days to finish the romance novel chapter, 'kay? Sarah and I are both having a bit of writer's block on the subject, but we should be fine. ;)

Jake shakes his head. "Nu-uh. Well, no one's talked to me," he amends. "Could be someone's asked Chloe, but she usually tells me these things. Was that a requirement? Because then we totally own you all." He pours them both coffee, grinning.

Rory grins and accepts the coffee, rolling her eyes. "Nah. We've got the radio, I think." She pushes away from the desk, and looks from Jake to Krycek. "Well, boys, I have to go find my own boyfriend and try to convince him to apologize to Parker. I somehow think this a futile effort, though," she adds, frowning.

"If you want the endorsement," she adds, pointing at Jake, "let me know, 'kay? Because I absolutely agree with that, and," she lowers her voice confidentially, "I would love to see some of the slacking StuCo people have to own up to their campaign promises."

She arches a brow, and with a wave, walks off.

Jake watches her leave with an eyebrow raised, then turns to Krycek, grinning. "I'm impressed. That was, like, vaguely bitchy. Didn't know she could do that."

Krycek snickers, nodding to Jake. "Kind of frightening what kind of bitterness responsibility engenders," he remarks. Taking the coffee Jake poured, he uses the opportunity to lean over and kiss him, grinning as he sits back up. "So, what, if I wanted to do a newspaper ad next week, you'd conveniently 'lose' it before publication?" He's teasing, very cheerful.

"Wha?" Jake says blankly, blinking at Krycek. He shakes his head. "I mean, what? Newspaper?" He shakes his head again. "I mean... What did you just do?" He doesn't sound angry, just very surprised.

Krycek sips coffee, eyes wide as he tries not to snort hot java at Jake's surprise. A moment later, he's managed to lower his cup and give Jake an almost innocent look. "A kiss? We're trying to do that more, and not just when drunk?" Seeing Jake's continued stare, he grins. "...Okay, here--"

Leaning over once more, he does an encore performance, though much more slowly and generally making sure Jake knows exactly what he's doing.

The surprise fades and Jake's automatic response becomes more involved, meeting Krycek's tongue with his own, before pulling away, shaking his head. "Um, my coffee," he explains, holding the mug up. His face is flushed, and he's grinning. "And, okay. That's, um. Okay."

Sitting back again, just barely flushed himself, he chuckles. "Yeah? Good. So how long are you sitting here for?"

"I have no idea. Until Chihaya replaces me or I get bored, I guess." Jake shrugs. "What are you doing today? You're done with the posters, right? I... think I remember you muttering about that." He frowns.

"Pretty much done on the posters, though I'm on call if D'anna needs anything else," he says, absently swirling the last of the coffee. "Done with classes and the Boss hasn't sprung any new jobs on me, either."

Jake blinks at him. "...Does that mean you're free? Like. We could do stuff?"

Krycek raises eyebrows and nods slowly. "Yeah?"
