Study Hall -- Monday, October 24th

Sarah sits at the front desk, a large pile of romance novel notes school-related documents sitting in front of her. She occasionally glances at the stack thoughtfully as if she's trying to come up with an idea and failing miserably.

Instead, however, she's been drawing mushroom clouds on the blackboard. She appears to have had a lot of practice at it.

OOC: Give me a couple of days to finish the romance novel chapter, 'kay? Sarah and I are both having a bit of writer's block on the subject, but we should be fine. ;)

Angelus came into Study Hall. He made a beeline for a seat by the windows and reclined in one as though trying to get a tan via the light that came through the necrotempered glass.

A tan while fully dressed, granted, but still. A vamp could dream.

Veronica stopped by study hall before her classes and walked over to where Angelus was seated.

"Hey," she said with a grin. "I know we're going for coffee later for your official interview, but I wanted to thank you for sparking the idea." She tilted her head which obviously means no male in a 50 yard radius will be able to say no to her and said, "I was wondering if you could do me another favor."

"Veronica Mars," Angelus said totally falling victim to the head tilt because none can resist that. "Sure, what do you need?"

"Well, I was hoping you would put a good word in for me with your friends in JA so I can interview them for additional articles," she said. "I don't want to just walk up to someone and say 'Oh yeah, I heard you were a demon/wizard/etc, mind if I interview you?'."

"No problem," Angelus said. "I was going to send them an email later today about Parents' Weekend. I can include the mention in that if you like."

She smiled brightly.

"That would be great," she said. "Oh, and where are you on that bake sale for Parents Weekend? Do I need to bust out my amazing baking skills?"

"Still waiting on confirmation from Bristow and the SC," Angelus said. "But I'm telling everybody to go ahead as if we've got it. Figure worst thing that happens is we have extra cookies for ourselves."

"Great, I'll head to the store sometime this week to pick up supplies. If I get them to you by Friday, will that work?"

"That would be perfect," Angelus smiled at her. "I'll get that email out to the gang by tonight."

"Great! See, you so not an evil vampire," she said, shaking her head.

"I need to get to class. I'll see you after sundown. How about Luke's?"

"Those sources would be correct," Angelus cracked his eyes open just enough to look at Johnny. "I felt she was a student who would greatly benefit from the talents that you could bring to the party. For safety's sake, of course."

Jonathan lowers his voice to a whisper, "Is she really pregnant? Because man, that's pressure."

"The nose never lies," Angelus confirmed. He then gave Johnny a grin. "As you well know. But you can handle it. You work the clinic, right? Seemed dumb to pair her with somebody who didn't have medical skills."

Well technically speaking I'm a counselor at the clinic but I guess even that's better than nothing. I guess it's nice to know you think I can handle the responsibility, even if the responsibility does kind of freak me out.

Oh! I apologized to Spike yesterday.

"There isn't anyone else in that class who I would trust with someone as important as Bristow's daughter," Angelus said. "And good. How'd it go?"

Jonathan smiles, proud to have pleased Angelus.

"I was thinking that at tommorrow's JA meeting you should be the one to suggest that in an effort to make our club members look our best, we all give our rooms a good cleaning. I already cleaned mine and Draco's but I think it would be nice if more people did the same."

"Wasn't planning on doing a meeting tomorrow," Angelus said. "Normally it's every two weeks. But if you feel strongly about it I could send an email to the gang."

He looked at Jonathan carefully. "Is this something we feel very strongly about?"

Very strongly about. I mean, with our parents coming and everything that happens (http://www.livejournal.com/users/oatmanspatient/9552.html) in the dorms. And besides, I'd for Draco or I to be singled out for being the only ones to have prepared like this.

If you don't think we should, that's fine, I just think we might all make a good impression if we do."

Marty walks up with his digital camera.

"Hi Angelus! Can I take your picture for the yearbook? And will it work because of that whole reflection/film thing?"

(OOC: Assuming that if in Season 2 Spike can watch a vampire fight with Buffy on videotape, we can take a picture of you on a digital camera)
