Tara's in her office bright and early for office hours although once Spider Jerusalem gets back to her with an appointment time she's closing up shop.

After trying to find Vala without much success and ending up talking to Kawalsky, Cameron is reminded that he needs to go talk to Tara about the assignment. He drops by her office and knocks on the door.

"Cameron!" Tara smiles warmly. "Come in."

Cameron manages a small smile, but between his cold and his girlfriend going missing he's not in the best of moods. He enters the room and remains hovering behind the chairs. "I er... you told me to think about the assignment during the weekend before making my final decision."

"I did," Tara nods. "Have you decided?"

Cameron nods, "I'd prefer to just drop the assignment. As much as I hate to get no mark for this, there is nothing more that I can add which hasn't already been said in the class."

"Alright," Tara nods again. "If you want to put in writing what you said in class I can give you partial credit. If you'd rather just drop the whole thing, that's okay too. You'll be excused from the first hour next week's class, as that'll be processing the assignment."

Logan knocks on the door. "Hey, uh, My Lady. Can I talk to you?"

"Sure, Logan," Tara replies easily. "Is this in Master role, or out of it?"

"Not sure," Logan said. "Parker's been having some trouble with the slave role."

Tara nods. "I'll assume in role, then, if you're coming on Parker's behalf. Take a seat and tell me what's going on."

Logan sits down. "She's not playing along," he says.

Tara takes a seat across from Logan in the circle, and crosses her legs. "Explain what you mean by that, please. What guidelines have the two of you set out?"

{CJ walks in without knocking} Tara, we need to talk. I have some concerns about your Ethiics assignment...but I'm sure you have good reasons. Do you have time?

"Of course, CJ," Tara smiles. "Tell me about your concerns."

Janet walks in. "Do you have a few moments, Professor Maclay?" she asks.

"Of course, Janet," Tara replies. "I'm glad you came by."

"I won't be long," she says, fishing in her backpack and pulling out a piece of paper as she comes over to sit down. "This is a note from Dr. Wilson. Parker's in the clinic for the next four days. Logan and Parker started screaming at each other during your class assignment and her ulcer ruptured."


OOC: Just a warning, Janet's going to drop the class. Two reasons: One, I don't have time for the number of posts and repercussions that this class generates, and two, the upcoming topics on rape I heard about are going to REALLY push my buttons OOC and it's best that I go away before that happens.

Tara nods, her face serious. "Logan came by this morning to let me know, and I'm visiting Parker after class tonight. Thank you for informing me."

OOC: Okay. Thanks for letting me know.

"I told her I'd let her teachers know," says Janet. "And drop off the notes. If there are any materials you need brought to her, then I can do that." She pauses. "I'm going to be dropping this course. I thought I should let you know in person."

"Thank you for letting me know, Janet. I'm sorry this has affected you so personally." Tara sighs. "No, there's nothing I need to send to Parker. It's very kind of you to do this for her."

Quinn knocks. "Hey! Got a minute?"

"Sure, Quinn. Come on in."

Quinn comes in and takes a seat. "I was sleeping off a headache on Friday and my eyes were all puffy and I could not be seen in public like that, so I missed class, and my mun has developed a phobia of the the post that exploded while she was at work that day so I'm wondering what I need to do to catch up so my mom won't kill me when she sees me."

"It might be best if you come to the class this afternoon, to catch up. We'll spend much of the time discussing the assignment - you're partnered with Bridge Carson. Can you make it to the Monday class?"
