Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I
The recent cold front had been a welcome weather pattern as far as Zoe was concerned, and she was very grateful for how things had turned out today - it was sunny and breezy, and just cool enough that no one would pass out from heat exhaustion. Hopefully.
Beneath the blue and gold streamers and balloons, tables had been set up with drinks and food, including an entire table ofmoddable different ice cream flavors. As always, there was a stack of nametags set down next two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.
[OCD is up! Have at it! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Re: Meet Your Teachers [Summer 2010-2]
Mitchell had absolutely no clue. He was trying to get a good look at the crowd and not netting much in terms of... well. Finding anyone like that.
And then he saw them, and it all became fairly clear, really. He wandered that way, and cleared his throat. "Numbers 21 and 24?"
Re: Meet Your Teachers [Summer 2010-2]
At the same time, the shorter, pudgier one piped up, "That's us!"
They exchanged a glance before turning to look at Mitchell.

He stuck his hands in his pocket. "Good to know," he said, grinning a little bit. "I'm Mitchell - your teaching buddy?" The word 'buddy' sounded... a little foreign with his accent.
Re: Meet Your Teachers [Summer 2010-2]
"That's very interesting," the short one said. "However, before we begin, we must ask you a question. Who would win in a fistfight: Lizzie Borden or Anne Frank?"
"Take you time," the other one added. "Weigh all the possibilities before answering."

"My money's still on Lizzie Borden," the shorter one said stubbornly, crossing his arms. "Dude, we're talking a large, healthy woman of questionable stability. Against a waif--however limber and fierce? Not even a contest."
The taller one waved that away. "Two to one, Anne wins. Glad to meet you, Mitchell. I'm 24. This is 21. We're members of...THE FLUTTERING HORDE!" They immediately moved to battle poses.

Perhaps a bit of an overstatement, but they were loyal henchmen.
"And duly licensed members of the Guild of Calamitous Intent," 24 piped up.

24 shook his head. "What are the students like?" he asked, nudging 21 in the ribs. They were teachers now, gawd.
Re: Meet Your Teachers [Summer 2010-2]
They might get a slightly more nuanced answer if they'd asked anyone other than the vampire desperately in love with humanity, but...

What? It was important to know?
