Arts & Crafts, Period 2, 6-25

The class had been asked to meet outside today and to wear clothes they wouldn't mind destroying. When they arrived, they would find a giant tarp and a lot of paint. Paint in pans, paint in balloons, paint in water guns. Paint, paint paint.

"Good morning, everyone. You've been a fun class and I've enjoy having you," Steve said. "So, without further ado, I'm going to let you cut loose." By which he of course meant: "PAINT FIGHT!"

Didi climbed up a tree with an armful of balloons, ready to take a shot at anyone who passed by underneath.

She was literally asking for it, as Del aimed one at her sister.

"No fair," Didi said, laughing as a jet of paint splashed against her top.

She aimed a retaliatory balloon at Del's forehead.

Del barely had the time to close her eyes, as the upper half of her face turned into a mess of paint. Removing some of it, she couldn't help but laugh as well, as she went running around the tree to throw some balloons behind her sister. Less chance of retaliation.

Didi managed to poke the first balloon out of the way, but two of the others splattered on her hands.

It was totally understandable that she clambered out of the tree and tried to find Del, with the intention of tickling her. That was just sharing the paint.

Del was more noticeable than half the landmarks on Fandom together at the moment, her hair flaring like crazy, showing off her state of utter happiness. Paint fight with her sister in the weirdest island around? Best. Day. Ever.

Holding a balloon on each hand she went to greet her sister with a big, splashy hug.
