Physical Education, 4th Period - 5/24

Today, there were ropes hanging from the ceiling when the students entered the gym. Which wasn't a massive freaking clue as to what they were supposed to be doing at all. Really.

Except for how it was.

"Today we're gonna try an' test you're strength and determination," Guy told the class. Because determination got you a long way. Like, into a coma! Or another coma! Just go with it. "If you make it to the top of the rope, you get a gold star. If you don't even try you gotta do it all over again. Got it?"

He was a benevolent dictator.

"Get your butts in gear, poozers!"

Tim could totally have done this in his sleep. It wasn't the secret identity holding him back today, though. It was the full-marshmallow-bag's worth of s'mores he'd eaten last night at the campfire plus the half-bag of marshmallows he'd had with breakfast. If he tried to shimmy up that rope right now, he'd lose that bet with Karla pretty quickly.

So he was staring up at a rope, trying to figure how he could do this without either looking like a total wuss or puking marshmallows all over the gym floor.
