Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part III
Hopefully things weren't so awkward before. Maybe things ended up well. Maybe, just maybe, you ended up meeting someone special.
Or you took your shirt off because Layla Miller convinced you it was destiny. But she's a damn dirty liar and well know it.
[Please wait for OCD is up! This is the SECOND post for general mingling. Use this post if your browser can't handle the comment load of the first mingling post. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are here.]

Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
She thought, with the day she was having, it would have been a good idea to go up to her room, but she just couldn't. She didn't want to miss a thing!
...especially not the shirtlessness. No complaints about the view from this corner of the picnic, no sir!

Well. Sort of a conversation.
She shook her head, waving a dismissive hand so that it was clear that she was fine, just fine, and then just sort of sighed, slagging to show how tired she was from such a long, wonderful day.

Not that she had her own bitterness in that area or anything....
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
... ahem.
"I know!" he said, in vigorous agreement with the eyeroll. "As if sending me away from London will stop me from valuing truth, beauty, freedom and love. It's the most ridiculous idea known to man."
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
So she pulled herself, nodding firmly in solidarity with the boy. Truth, beauty, freedom and love sounded like wonderful things to believe in. Especially that last one. She was a big fan of freedom, too.
Truth....she wasn't so good at that one, but that was okay. Three out of four wasn't bad.
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
He bowed his head. "I'm Christian, by the way. Are you new as well?"
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
She loved that nametag. Greatest tool ever, and so simple.

Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
She would have never thought it would be a name for a boy before, though! That was just odd to think about.
She wished she could tell Christian that she liked his name, too, even if it did make her think of Sebastian.
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
He ran a hand over his hair, a bit fussily. "I suppose I'll see you around campus."
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
But still, she nodded, perhaps with a little too much enthusiasm, because, yes, he would see her around campus, if she was lucky and they could you know...
...well, not talk, but...
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
But the vigorous nod gave him hope.
"Fantastic. I'll read you some of my poetry!" he offered.
Sadly, this was not a euphemism.
Re: More General Mingling (Summer 2010)
Poetry, though! Ariel wasn't entirely sure if she was a big fan of poetry, but she supposed she could be a fan of poetry if she wanted. She looked very impressed, blue eyes wide and expressing that she'd love to hear some of his poetry.
She hoped.
She really, really hoped.
