Library [4-22]
George was reading a book on the Costra Nostra. No reason. But it was interesting to see how other places set up their Rogues' Court. And interesting t'get ideas on how such things could be changed. Did he ever decide he wanted to change 'em.
He wasn't terribly concerned about the end of the school year - far as he knew, he wasn't going anywhere, but the fact that he'd been away from the Lower City for so long made him wonder if he should try to finagle a Portalocity portal no matter how expensive they were. Hm.

Stupid graduation.
Karla waved off the threat of rain with one hand. "It rained yesterday and that didn't stop us from having a water balloon fight at the Magic Reserves meeting," she said. "And it's already plenty warm enough for me. This is nearly midsummer weather for Glacia."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
"Aye? Then what finds ye here an' not out in the sun?" he asked playfully. "Tis plenty warm an' all."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
"Well, I was coming inside to visit this young male I like and bring him lunch," Karla teased, holding up a bag from Luke's. "...but if you think I'd be better served by being outside in the sunshine, I can always go."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
"Now yer jus' bein' mean," George said sadly. "Do I hope fer yer continued presence an' sunshine t'my day or send ye on yer way t'soak in th'wished fer sunshine."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
"Fortunately for you, I have several weeks ahead of me to be able to enjoy that wished for sunshine," Karla said, dimpling at him. "So staying to be your personal sunshine isn't the least hardship for me. In fact, I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be--for the next few hours anyway."

She gave him a sideways smile. "Do you know anyone who's coming tonight?" she asked.

She snagged a fry and ate it before adding, "I'm looking for other people in the audience we can grab if that happens. I'm trying to figure out how to convince Bobby to go."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
Another fry was snagged as George considered her point. "I'd jus' tell Bobby there's food there. He'll be there in a heartbeat."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
Oh! Smooshy fry! Those were the tastiest. "Using food as bait, huh? I'm not sure that'll work. At least, I've never tried such tactics."
There was a statement designed to set off George's gift if there ever was one.
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
The fry she'd taken might be a bit shorter if George's snatch succeeded. "Lass, I certainly would never be accusin' ye of such of thing. T'would never even cross me mind." Really. "But I can assure ye t'would work on Bobby." And him. (obviously)
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
Because Karla had never done anything similar, oh no.

She said, as her hand inched over towards his fries. La.

Re: Talk to George [4-22]
Someone had just tried to snitch a fry.
"And that's why you'll be the Rogue, is it?" she asked, fondly.
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
"But I'd think y'd be a good one did ye wish it."
Re: Talk to George [4-22]
It wasn't cheating if you won! Or something.
"And what would happen if I ended up a thief in your Court, huh?" Karla asked, resting her chin on the palm of her hand. And crooking her finger at a fry, which started to float off the paper and over to her.
