Living with Difficult Women [Tuesday, Period 5]

"Good afternoon, class." Sophie smiled brightly at Max's students, two boxes of J,GoB's best pastries on the desk behind her, looking completely benign. "I understand you have a Final today. I'm afraid Professor Maximus won't be joining us until the very end, though. He's been unavoidably detained."

By a bottle of tequila, two supermodels and a stripper, and a delayed return-ticket on Portalocity. Bless them.

"So since I don't have access to his final test, I'm afraid you'll have to, mm, 'wing it'. Please write down what you've learned from this class... and then every way you plan on twisting that knowledge to your own advantage in the future."

There. That was a good test of how well they'd understood the concepts.

"After all, it's the applicability that matters, isn't it?"

If it was going to be Sophie grading these, then Leia was definitely letting loose with her opinion on the class.

Hannibal's essay was a little more complimentary of Professor Maximus's class than others might be but he still twisted it around a little to make it seem like he appreciated difficult women rather than resenting them.

Still, it wasn't like he'd forget the class. While he didn't know that many difficult women, he was sure he'd meet some in the future and now he had the knowledge to deal.

Helen wrote pages and pages of response to this. She started with the 'politically correct' answers and then, just for her own venting pleasure, continued on with the answers she would have preferred to have given.

The latter wasn't intended to be turned in, but who knew what could happen here in Fandom or if Sophie might simply snag everything from her.

It wasn't like Mat was really concerned about grades, so he wrote exactly what he thought about women, noblewomen, Aes Sedai, the weather, what awaited him when he returned home, and why every woman he'd ever met had proven to be difficult in one way or another.

Max would have loved this essay. Sophie, probably not.

Francine didn't have a bad opinion of the class or the professor; she'd have to be a much more difficult woman herself to complain about what others might take as sexism, and by nature, she wasn't. Her essay consisted mostly of variations on the theme of difficult people, though, and concluded in: Most of the best people to know in life are 'difficult' and the smartest thing you can do is hang on to them as hard as you can.

Jack wrote a few pages on interpersonal relationships and how to handle them effectively. Really. It started bad and just kept getting worse.

Page three had the extended metaphor using the engine of a car.
