It was going on to the last week of classes, which meant finals, which meant that Jonothon was going to at least pretend that he had important studying to do today during his library shift.

Reading a book about classic horror films absolutely counted as a productive way to spend his day. It helped that he was already fond of the subject matter. And if he focused mostly on the chapter about slasher films, then he could pretend say that he was doing research for how much people suck, too.

He was about, and organizing a display of study materials to go with finals.

He wasn't expecting the Cliffs Notes to be big movers at this school.
