It was going on to the last week of classes, which meant finals, which meant that Jonothon was going to at least pretend that he had important studying to do today during his library shift.

Reading a book about classic horror films absolutely counted as a productive way to spend his day. It helped that he was already fond of the subject matter. And if he focused mostly on the chapter about slasher films, then he could ~~pretend~~ say that he was doing research for how much people suck, too.

It was kind of fascinating, how it seemed as though the premise of most horror films didn't get any less cheesy, in spite of improved special effects and heightened budgets over time.

How very fortunate that Jono could read about particularly gory scenes in his favourite films without having to worry about losing his appetite.

And now he'd moved on from reading about horror films. Because, honestly, those books didn't take that long to read.

A book about how the music industry was slowly destroying itself by failing to take into consideration the marketing possibilities for digital media was now the subject matter in question. Jono would probably be more fascinated by it if he was even remotely computer literate.
