Anakin was certainly not missing the barely controlled chaos of the last few days. Really. Not at all.

...he was definitely not missing his creepy namesake.

"There's a very famous story on this world, of the lady or the tiger. The king in this tale has his own sense of justice: instead of a court system, he had an arena with two doors. Behind one door was a beautiful woman, handpicked by the king. Behind the other was a tiger. If you chose the tiger, you were eaten and declared guilty. If you chose the lady, you were considered innocent and married the lady. The king didn't care about your current marital status or sexual orientation, apparently."

He leaned back against his desk. "One day the king discovered that his daughter had been having an affair with someone far below her station, so the man was arrested and tossed into the arena. Now the princess knew which door has what behind it, and her lover looked up to her for advice. She had two choices: watch her love die, or watch him marry another woman. The story ends with the princess telling him which door to open, but leaves us hanging as to what waited behind it."

Anakin smiled. "Your task today is two-fold. First, pair up with a classmate and decide what the princess did. Then tell me what you would have done in the princess's place."

"You could have warned me, you know," Leia said.

Hello there, little black rain cloud randomly above Anakin's head.

"I thought you knew," he retorted, moving immediately onto more important things. "Chuck Bass? Really?"

"Don't look at me," Leia said, rolling her eyes. "That was some other Leia. One who was either careless or decided she was in love with him." It was getting far too easy to refer to alternate versions of herself now.

Oh, silly Leia, expecting Anakin to be reasonable. Little peals of thunder started rolling and Anakin finally glanced up. "The hell?"

Leia stared for a moment, then started laughing. "I hope you brought an umbrella!"

"I didn't bring one inside," Anakin griped as it started raining on his head.

That would do awesome things to his hair.

"Maybe it was a parting gift from one of the bundles of joy running around this weekend?" Leia snickered. "Did you upset any of them?"

"Only the creepy one with my name," Anakin complained, "and his powers weren't over the weather."

"Then maybe this is Fandom's way of telling you you're all wet?" Leia suggested. She did make a quick glance up over her head to make sure there wasn't a matching cloud there.

Anakin flicked some water at her with his fingers. "Funny," he commented.

"I'm not the one with the storm cloud," Leia said. "Now that's funny. So you met Jaina? And Skye?"

Anakin made a face, but nodded. "I worked on some level of Force-control with Jaina before she scampered off to throw rocks with some other kid."

"Her at least I could almost understand," Leia mused. "But Skye? I've only met Dean Winchester once, at the kissing booth."

"The island has a sense of humor," Anakin said dryly. "Did you meet the creepy kid wandering around with my name?"

Now that he was gone, Anakin had no problem admitting the creepiness.

"No, I didn't," Leia said, shaking her head. "Was he supposed to be mine, too?" She hoped not; she knew she had a son named Anakin but didn't want him to be described as creepy, thank you very much.

"Raven and Chuck Bass," Anakin said, making yet another face as lightning cracked over his head (what. the. hell.)

Leia took a step back -- she didn't want to be hit by one of those random lightning strikes. "She named her son after you?" she said, not without a little sarcasm. "Aww, that's so sweet."

"It would have been sweeter if the kid wasn't so odd," Anakin decided.

"Well, don't blame Chuck," Leia said. "Jaina seemed like a perfectly normal girl."

"No, I'll blame Chuck," Anakin said. "Because there's nothing wrong with my name."

Someone was a little vehement about this...

"Apparently not, since I name my son after you," Leia pointed out. Pity -- or fortunately -- she didn't know what would happen to that son yet.

Anakin blinked. "You know about that?"

"Tahiri told me about him," Leia said. Well, Leia had pulled it out of Tahiri after her reaction to robo-baby Anakin, if you wanted to get technical about it.

His eyebrows drew together. "I will have to talk to Tahiri."

"When I told her I'd named the droid babies Jaina and Anakin, she had a visible reaction," Leia hastily explained, not wanting to get Tahiri in trouble. "I wanted to know why, and you know I don't give up until I get an answer."
