Today Charlie is amusing himself by throwing office basketball and calculating probabilities while waiting for either his study group or Angelus to show up. Or someone else.

Sam resists the urge to nudge Janet in the side with her elbow.

Janet absolutely does not tell Sam she thinks this whole thing is incredibly hilarious. Mostly because she's going to have to see if Sam has physics books she can borrow now. Damn it.

Sam's very excited at actually being able to spend time on the things that no one ever cared about at the SGC--like math and theory.

She also has plenty of physics textbooks for Janet to borrow.

Janet cared that Sam cared, but was often too busy doing medical things and terrorizing hapless soldiers to listen much.

Janet looks longingly at her book about nanotechnology in health care. Then again, watching Sam geek out firsthand is always fun.

"So, you've decided? Wormhole geometry and then a series of equations on how you might theoretically be able to travel through a wormhole?" Charlie asks, already jotting it down on his pad. "I'll talk to your teachers in physics and quantum theory, see if you can get some extra credits for this work with them as well."
