Today Charlie is amusing himself by throwing office basketball and calculating probabilities while waiting for either his study group or Angelus to show up. Or someone else.

Janet cared that Sam cared, but was often too busy doing medical things and terrorizing hapless soldiers to listen much.

Janet looks longingly at her book about nanotechnology in health care. Then again, watching Sam geek out firsthand is always fun.

"I'll talk to your teachers in physics and quantum theory, see if you can get some extra credits for this work with them as well."
