Even though he hadn't had any visions lately, it was clear to Sam that something was seriously up in Fandom. The fact that he hadn't had any visions to tell him what was up was not making him happy, but he was trying not to think about it as he went back and forth grabbing books and materials for people who wanted to come and research.

"So I've noticed. Are you okay?" Sam asked, eying the takeout. The last thing he wanted was for Chuck to get hurt trying to bring him food.

"It's just fog, Sam," Chuck said, rolling his eyes. "I know I'm not as experienced as the rest of you when it comes to that sort of thing but I think I can handle myself."

"I think it might be more than just fog," Sam said. "Normal fog doesn't last this long. And I know you can handle yourself, but that doesn't mean I can't be worried."

"And Deadpool says I'm the girl in this relationship," Chuck said, sighing. "Eat your food I risked death by fog to get and don't worry about me."

Chuck had died and been resurrected so many times on this island he was beginning to think he was invincible.

"We take turns being the girl," Sam said with a smirk as he took his food. "Aside from the fog, how are you?"

"Feels like I've been doing nothing but working, to be honest," Chuck said. "Turns out I have an amazing work ethic for someone who bought their way through school."

"There's a difference between school and work. Just ask Dean," Sam said. "He hated most of the schools we were in before here, but he'll get all kinds of educational if there's a hunt."

"There's also a big difference between what I do and what Dean does. What I do feels like school sometimes," Chuck said. "And my hotel is much nicer than the ones he stays at. I can't believe I slept in one of those places. Did you know that vibrating beds really exist and aren't just something you see in movies?"

Sam made a disgusted face at the mention of vibrating beds. "Yeah, Dean really likes them," he said. "As for the motels though, we can't afford to stay in hotels like yours. There's nothing wrong with most of the motels we go to though. We don't stay in ones that are like a public health risk or anything."

"I'll gladly pay you guys to stay in some place that didn't have carpet that looked like the chick from the Exorcist puked on them."

"That's nice of you, but unnecessary. It's kind of hard to keep a low profile when you're living large in a nice hotel," Sam explained.

Chuck rolled his eyes again. "I couldn't live like that. I can barely stand the living conditions here."

"Oh yes, you poor thing with your nice room all to yourself," Sam teased. "That's so rough."

"Where I'm from nobody shares a room. And that includes married people most of the time," Chuck said. Upper East Side marriages were...special. "I barely tolerate letting the people I nail sleep in the same bed with me overnight."

"That's just because you're afraid you'll wake up and find yourself cuddling them," Sam said.

"I don't cuddle," Chuck said, bitchfacing a little. "That was all you."

"Oh no, you were totally cuddling back," Sam insisted. "It's okay to admit it. Cuddling is nice."

"I was not and I don't like it," he said. "It suggests that I'd want to keep the other person around and that would be false advertising."

"No, it suggests that the other person makes a really nice body pillow," Sam said. "Which is true in many cases."

"Body pillow dredges up imagery of some psycho killer sewing together human skin into blankets and stuff, you know that right?" Well that's what it sounded like to him.

"What? How...where did you even come up with that?" Sam asked. "It just means you and the other person sleep all curled up and on top of each other." This was possibly a little more revealing about how he and Peter slept than he wanted to admit.

"You really don't get that I throw the person out the next day, do you?" he asked. "The less affectionate I am, the smoother that process goes."

"No, I get it. I don't understand it, but I know you do it," Sam said.

"So then you can understand why I have a natural aversion to that sort of thing." He was lying, but he's told this one so much that he almost believed it himself. "I suggest you consider me a lost cause and let it go."

"Fine," Sam said, rolling his eyes. "But know that if we ever have to share a bed again, for whatever reason, I might not be able to stop myself from cuddling in my sleep."
