Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets. Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Hush.

"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said, pulling his attention back from the wall he'd been staring at, trying to get a handle on a bad feeling he'd been having since stepping foot on the island yesterday. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."

He smiled. Evilly. Some of his lesson plans might have changed this semester, but he had been looking forward to the droid babies with something close to unholy glee this go-around. "Meet your little projects for the next week. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for the duration, believe me, I'll know."

After all, he'd built all of them.

He reached for a list of paper. "I've paired you up together." His smile turned a little more evil. "And some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

"What? Droid Girl's fine," he made a face. "Crybaby? Noisy?"

"Droid Girl is much nicer than the other two," Bod decided, peering at the thing. "If we name it something derogatory, I'm almost assured that it'll cry more."

Jake rolled his eyes, but then... if naming the stupid thing would work. "Sedna," he suggested. "It was this girl from Inuit mythology."

Not that it'd been a happy story.

"That's a nice name," Bod said sincerely. "Sedna. I think that might work just fine."

And the droid baby, seemingly happy about something, settled a bit.

"See? She likes you," Jake felt a lot more at ease with Bod holding the thing.

"She likes the name," Bod said, shaking his head. "You're not going to make me do everything so stop thinking about it."

"You can't blame me for trying," Jacob defended. "It's looking pretty sweet from here."

He was going to have to make puppy eyes at Morgana, huh?

"You can try all you want. You're not going to succeed," he promised but kept hold of the baby for the moment. "Because I calmed her down, you get to take her first."

Jacob made a face. "So she can cry again? You've got the magic touch, it'd be mean to deprive her."

"She's going to have to get used to," Bod insisted. "So, do it now before I just leave her in your bed."

Jacob laughed. "Maybe I should go sleep outside or something," he said, but he stepped closer and held out a hand. Might as well take the short pain. "So what, I take her today, you tomorrow?"

"I'm all right with that," he agreed before passing the droid baby over to Jacob. "And if things get too difficult, we'll...figure something else out."

"You mean ask Morgana?" Jacob tried to be more careful now as he took Sedna, really not wanting to hurt his ears.

"You'll be asking her but yes," Bod said, nodding. "That's what I mean."

"Hey, at least it's quiet now," Jacob remarked, impressed with himself. Not that, you know... he had anything to do with it.

"Hopefully it stays that way," Bod said, taking a breath.
