Ethics [Tuesday, March 23, 2nd period]

Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets. Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Hush.

"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said, pulling his attention back from the wall he'd been staring at, trying to get a handle on a bad feeling he'd been having since stepping foot on the island yesterday. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."

He smiled. Evilly. Some of his lesson plans might have changed this semester, but he had been looking forward to the droid babies with something close to unholy glee this go-around. "Meet your little projects for the next week. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for the duration, believe me, I'll know."

After all, he'd built all of them.

He reached for a list of paper. "I've paired you up together." His smile turned a little more evil. "And some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

Really, Anakin, did you really think you could improve upon what years of lectures about muddying the succession had done to Arthur's conception of 'sleeping with women'?

He just stared. "Technically," he started, sensibly, "...this isn't supposed to be a problem until I get married."

Bod...didn't know what to make of this. He could barely take care of himself sometimes so he was a little skeptical about being entrusted with something like this.

Dru was on edge. She couldn't decide if the pain in her head was due to the previous night's drinking or if it was something more otherworldly. The fog on the way to class had given her a bad case of the heebie jeebies.

Andy wasn't sure if this was entirely fair. After all, he'd be able to do stuff with a real baby that wouldn't work on a robot. He wasn't sure he wanted to think about taking care of a kid without that little ace in the hole.
