Library [2.2]

Another Tuesday, another library shift, and Anemone had her nose buried deep in the surfing magazines again. Spring was coming -- eventually -- which meant if she couldn't get back in the sky, she'd be hitting the waves the moment the ice was off the water.

The library was open, but unless you've got the newest issue of Cutback, good luck getting the aide's attention.

It was first period when George finally stumbled out of Special Collections. There was paper bits stuck in his hair, and he frowned at Anemone curiously. "I wasn' gone fer that long, eh?" he said. "I didn' know th'librarian would care."

"I don' need permission t'wander off," George frowned. "Least I never did before." He shrugged, trying to brush the paper out of his hair. "They liked me hair a lot. Twas weird."

"I didn' get bit," he replied defensively. "An' twas someone in th' library an' then it went into Special Collections. Twas me job t'go after it, aye? Couldn' let it run free."

"I don' - six days?" George asked. "I did miss ev'rythin'!" He frowned. "Yer jus' messin' wit' me. Tisn't Tuesday."

"Don' be stickin' much in yer eye," he advised with a grin. "It does hurt."

And now he was wondering if he'd missed kissing a certain blonde witch or if she'd forgive him for it.
