Study Hall | Friday

It was Friday again, but this week Ronon was pleased to see there were no tiny creatures to steal his lunch, follow him home, replicate a few dozen times, and turn into destructive beasts in the middle of the night.

Made for a busy weekend.

Ronon was making use of his study hall time to check out a five-hour documentary he'd been given for Christmas. Someone on his team was cruel.

So far, A Brief History of Golf was entertaining for how pathetically these guys dressed.

Today, Spock set himself up in study hall with his Federation History materials. While he was well aware that he would have to endeavor to prevent the other students from seeing anything they ought not just yet, he did have an assignment due in the class, which made it only logical to work on it today during the assigned study time.

Joan was up early and decided to spend some time using one of the computers in Study Hall to look up college information.

After all, she only have a few months before graduation and no plans for afterwards. Her parents were getting antsy about her lack of plans.

Ronon was really ready for someone to die in a sand pit. He didn't get why they were so hazardous.

Nineteen days, and Jaina was beginning to get antsy waiting for a call. Maybe that was why she came down to study hall. Or maybe it was because the curiosity was killing her and there were a couple things she wanted to try and get answers on.

"You look riveted," she said when she came in.

Ronon stifled a yawn, turning her way. "'M gettin' the idea this isn't my sport."

He wasn't used to the kids actually trying to interact with him during study hall, but there was no way Ronon would ignore someone willing to save him from the boring.

"Let me guess where you picked this up," she said wryly.

"Someone I hate," Ronon said with a grin. "What're you up to here?"

"I came with questions, I'm sure you're thrilled," Jaina said with a smile.

Ronon felt he ought to warn her here. "I'm not the guy people usually ask about stuff." Granted, Ronon understood he was probably one of the few with answers to things she could be asking.

Unless this was some weird girl thing.

"Yeah, I've heard the way you give responses, I can figure out why," she said, finding a seat. "I have a feeling you know what this is about anyway."

He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms behind his head. "This about the gym uniforms?" The look on his face betrayed his teasing attitude.

"Yes. They can completely be worse," she deadpanned. "So I caught that show you were telling me about."

"Oh yeah?" Finally something entertaining happening in study hall. And it didn't involve violence!

"Do you know a kid named O'Neill, I think? He's a student here," Jaina began.

Oh yeah, Ronon knew the clone. "Uh huh. Short, looks like the General."

Okay, there was some corroboration there. "He said the show was based on the team of the guy he was cloned from. Does that sound about right?"

Still telling everyone he was a clone. Woolsey would kick the guy. "O'Neill knows the story better," Ronon replied. "But yeah. Clones happen."

"Oh, trust me, I know that," said Jaina. "So there are other people from your team here?"

And once again she realized maybe she wasn't so dissimilar from Leia because if so, she wanted to shake those people down but only for certain pieces of info.

"Not anymore," he said with an almost sad shake of his head. "Whole group was here for a couple sessions." Not that any of them knew the connection.

"Who?" she asked automatically, realizing immediately that he might not be able to tell her.

"You know Sheppard," he teased, "and Teyla and McKay were in your class." Oh the long-ago survival class, how he didn't miss young McKay.
