Outdoor Fitness and Strategy [Monday, Period One]

In deference to the weekend's events, Bond had sent an email to the class telling them to meet in the gym rather than on the school steps today.

"Good morning, class," Bond began, once they'd finished arriving. "We were going to work on cross-country running this week but given that I imagine most of you had a somewhat stressful weekend instead we're going to be watching an inspirational sports movie."

After this weekend, Jonas was really relieved to have a movie day. He knew he probably wouldn't understand the movie but it was good to relax, recover and wonder how long his leg would look like something tried to bite him.

Beka did not mind the reprieve. She'd not been working the whole night through for many months now and her muscles were still aching. Resting didn't seem like a bad idea.

Dru had done enough running over the weekend. She was content to relax for the class. Although she did find a spot on one of the mats to stretch and work some of the kinks out for a few minutes.

Kurt had almost not come to class today, since his image inducer was still broken. Instead, he kept his fuzzy blue self hidden in a cloak and sat near the back of the room.

Even though Robin was probably the LAST person who would care about his appearance, Kurt pulled the cloak around him more tightly. He was still nervous.

Jon didn't get the movie. Really, he didn't. Dodgeball wasn't a sport, it was torture designed by sadistic phys ed teachers.

He was just going to stare at the screen, slightly offended.

Considering that Sam had just barely gotten back into town after visiting Dean (of course he wasn't going to miss class!) he was glad to have an easy class, and sat back and tried to focus on the movie.

Zayne sat back and enjoyed the day of rest. At least he could be pretty sure the movie wasn't going to make him hurt at all.

Although he DID feel quite a bit of sympathy for the guy who got hit in the face with the wrench.

Jack hadn't thought so far as to plan to take Rose to her classes -- especially the early morning one -- but the bobcat disagreed. She led him to the steps, then zigzagged back to the gym and right up to Bond's feet.

Which she sniffed. Hi, shoes!

"Professor Bond?" Jack began, a bit sheepishly. "This is Rose Hathaway. She wanted to come to class."

The bobcat glared up at Bond for an entire second before she took off to destroy a bit of lint.
