In deference to the weekend's events, Bond had sent an email to the class telling them to meet in the gym rather than on the school steps today.

"Good morning, class," Bond began, once they'd finished arriving. "We were going to work on cross-country running this week but given that I imagine most of you had a somewhat stressful weekend instead we're going to be watching an inspirational sports movie."

Dru had done enough running over the weekend. She was content to relax for the class. Although she did find a spot on one of the mats to stretch and work some of the kinks out for a few minutes.
