Sam was in a slightly better mood than he'd been for the past few days once he was settled in at the library. Yes, it was terribly geeky how being in the library calmed him down, but he needed one place where he could come and clear his thoughts, so he didn't think this trait would be changing any time soon.

Sam took the sushi and ate it carefully, giving Chuck an almost disappointed look when he was done. "That...wasn't as bad as I thought."

"Ha, I knew you'd like it," Chuck said smugly. "Feel free to tell me how awesome I am."

"I didn't say I liked it. I just said it wasn't that bad," Sam said. "I still prefer burgers though." Digging into his bag, he pulled out the fries and offered them to Chuck. "Do you want some?"

"Whatever, you liked it. And I'll pass on the fries," Chuck said, wrinkling up his nose. "I don't like eating junk like that too often."

"Now that I agree with," Sam said, happily digging into the fries now though. "Maybe our tastes aren't that different after all."

"I wouldn't go that far," he said, picking up another piece of sushi. "We hardly have anything in common. Not that there's anything wrong with that."

"We do manage to get along pretty well for two guys with nothing in common," Sam said, sounding like he'd thought about that before. "I didn't think that would happen when we first met."

"Me either," Chuck admitted. "I guess we'll have to chalk it up to the whole opposites attract thing."

"Except not in a sex way," Sam said, smirking. "I guess it works for friends too."

Chuck rolled his eyes. "Of course I meant it in a friends way. I'm doubtful the opposites attract thing even works in bed."

"You've never slept with someone you didn't have much of anything in common with?" Sam asked. "I don't know if you and Dean are much the same."

"I wasn't talking in personality opposites," he said. "I meant in, like, type of sex you enjoy opposites."

Seeing how just thinking about the kind of sex Chuck liked made Sam blush, he clearly got Chuck's point. "Oh, I...yeah, okay, that makes sense."

Chuck couldn't help but grin at Sam's reaction. "Yeah, see, my point exactly. You'd get so flustered you'd pass out before we even got anything done."

"I would not!" Sam protested. "I don't pass out easily. And it's not like I'm totally virginal. I might be...kind of surprised by what you want to do, but I'm not really a big girl."

"Whatever, you were about to blush to death just thinking about it."
