Timing had worked in Bruce's favor this morning. After a long overnight flight from Japan, he was really early for the shuttle to Fandom. That was according to plan. This way he'd get to see how people came into the room marked "Fandom High," whether they were nervous, or excited, or annoyed at the very thought of having to go to school.
Those first impressions didn't necessarily mean anything, but Bruce felt they often gave a good insight into how his new classmates would react in a stressful situation. You never knew when that kind of thing might come in handy.

He had a good guess, especially with the hand shake, but it was probably better to engage in small talk instead of just trying to deduce things. It made him seem 'more social.'

An archer," he said, kind of lamely since he realized halfway through that the dragging the equipment around made that kind of obvious. "Just as a hobby, not, like, competition-level or anything." Not yet, at least. He'd probably need to find an archery tutor in the future, just in case that skill could be useful.

He wasn't sure whether or not somebody his age from Star City would be remember the infamous murders based on that information, but there was a chance of it.
