DADA for Muggles, final class [Wednesday]

It had taken Remus and Sirius slightly less time this go around to program the Danger Room to do what they wanted (Sirius contended it was because it had threatened the computer with a good hexing, but that was debatable), but for a final examination, the professors felt that a bit of effort should be expended.

"Welcome to your exam," Sirius said with a slightly fiendish smile, extending his hand to encompass the scene before them: a large grassy area (complete with a different castle in the background. They missed Hogwarts a bit, so hush) covered in a variety of obstacles. "Hopefully you remember what you have learned. You will encounter a series of practical exercises in order for us to determine how prepared you are to face the Dark Arts in every day life. Good luck. If you get too hexed to continue, Professor Lupin and I will step in, but I don't think that will be entirely necessary."

Okay, this one Priestly had a little more trouble with, and involved a lot of standing as far back as possible with his head turned away and a grimace on his face while sort of hoping that if he flung strips of duct tape at the zombie, it'd get the point and do it itself.

This wasn't hard, but it involved wishing she didn't have to breathe. Also that the zombie would quit grinning at her.

Duct tape for the win! And some over her nose to keep the smell off, too. TK didn't help so much when bits and pieces kept falling off when she wasn't looking.

"Is that your ear, or someone else's?"

"Nnnnngh."

"Oh. Good."

One time had been enough for Alex, really. He just stared at the zombie in some disdain before going for the Duct tape and doing a pretty crappy job of getting the thing back together.

Yeah, so not happy.

Oh yeah, this was just how she wanted to spend her day, and it was with a wrinkled nose that Effy started duct-taping at arms length.

... And if a finger or two fell off when she thought she was almost done, they were getting left that way.

Diana studied the zombie before picking up the tape, ripping off some pieces, and then twitching the possibilities to make sure the breeze was blowing the smell away from her. It helped. Somewhat.

Well, this was...disgusting. Jenny set to work with the duct tape, doing a quick and rather slapdash job of it. She was going to need a shower and a drink after this. UGH.

Much as Francine hated this, she forced herself to do it my, of all things, imagining the zombie was her. She'd have loved someone who'd help with this instead of, oh, nailing her ear to a sign.

Sam was a big fan of duct tape, so he went with that to try to get his zombie back in one piece. He might have gotten the hands backwards, but he didn't think the zombie would really care that much.

It was a not very cheerful Momoko that wrapped her zombie. She tried not to take it out on the one she'd been assigned, but she just didn't like zombies. Zombies had killed her friends and then her friends had become zombies and, okay, the ones at Caritas were nice and she didn't mind them, but WHY did it have to be zombies?

A throaty gurgle brought her attention back to what she was doing, and she shook her head. "Sorry, is that too tight?" She tried to remove the tape to loosen it, but it took some pieces of skin and tissue with it. "EW! Uhm, sorry, I'll just put that... yeah." She patted it back into place and added some more tape over it. Hopefully she was done now?

Jack grabbed a roll of duct tape, a zombie, and got to work.

A few minutes later, there was a shiny mummified man-sized mound of mortifying flesh moaning muffledly.
