The Library is Open - 10/18

Methos is buried somewhere in the stacks. A sign on the collections desk reads, "Students are reminded that they will be fed to Locker 327 if they bring food into the library. Yes, the librarian is exempt from that. No, it's not fair. Get over it."

If you need to check out a book, hope that one of the assistants is around -- or risk your life by yelling for the librarian in the library.

"Hold on a moment," from the stacks, then Adam emerges, dust down the side of his face. He grins seeing CJ. "Good morning. What can I do for you?"

What? Oh. I'm not sure yet. It's among the usefully vague stack that I haven't cataloged yet. They could be lost Shakespearian plays or pulp novels. Or the Necromicon, but I'm hoping that would be locked in Special Collections.

Yes. That and the ethics of the taking away someone's personal power without their knowledge or consent. It's not...nice.

I'm pretty sharp, Adam. But I'm also open. You don't need to be sneaky. Just ask...if it's not mine to tell, I won't. I know a lot of things I never talk about. I keep secrets well.
