Ethics [Thursday, November 19, 1st period]
Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets.
Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Shh.
"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."
He smiled. "Meet your little projects for the next two weeks. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for the duration, believe me, I'll know."
After all, he'd built all of them.
He reached for a list of paper. "Some of you I've paired together, some of you are single parents." His smile turned a little evil. "Some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
Yeah, they'll be creepy instead.
"Therefore it is your child. Also, we are two girls, how can we even have children."
Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
The ugly comment, though, Maron agreed with. So she ignored it.
Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
Azula stared at the thing and was tempted, very tempted to not do the assignment but this was Ethics class and this was the one class her brother monitored with a too intense eye and also, more, Azula hated failing at anything.
"How do we even take care of this nightmare."
If it were up to Azula the kid would be called 'Thing' or 'Nightmare' for the duration of its infancy.
Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
"It's not hard," she said, cradling the baby carefully in her arms. "When he cries, there's something that's bothering him--he's probably hungry, or needs to be changed, or wants attention."
She glanced sideways at Azula, though. "And, besides, if this is a two week assignment, you might even fail the class if you don't do it--wouldn't that be awful on your records?"
Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
Azula froze, fail? Azula fail? No way in seven hells. Azula never failed. There were setbacks but no failures. "I. Don't. Fail."
Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
Maron reviewed her words at the question. "Maybe not change," she conceded, "though who knows if they'll cry and you have to switch their clothing about anyway?"
Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
Oh, her brother would pay for subjecting her to this class!

Re: Pair #8: Maron Kusakabe & Princess Azula
Someone was starting to sound hysterical. Azula tried to keep it off her voice because it might just get her sent back into an asylum. Not that she'd know what it took to be sent into one.
