Driver's Ed [Thursday, Week 8, Period 2]

"Good morning," Ziva said, looking rather excited as everyone came into the Danger Shop. "I promised all of you that you would be able to learn how to use some vehicles that are not cars, and that is what we are going to do today. You are going to get to drive three different vehicles today, one on each section of the track." The track looked smooth and obstacle-free from here ~~which should have been the first sign of danger~~. "Each vehicle handles very differently, but I believe you are all ready for a challenge. Go on and get started."

Like you're doomed!

It's blissfully short this week!

All you have to do is get around the track in each vehicle!

Okay, so it's kind of like a car (http://girlsinwhitedresses.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/stationwagon.jpg), but it's also older than any of you and so clunky that it won't go over 30 miles per hour without shaking like parts are going to fall off.

It's not a full-sized cheese wagon (http://www.used-buses.net/bustypes/img/school-bus-3.jpg), which is probably good since it's filled with screaming elementary school children. And no, you're not allowed to kill or strangle any of them.

If you survive the first two parts, your reward is getting to ride one of the shiny new (http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/2009_Motorcycles/2009_Motorcycles.jsp) motorcycles for the rest of class.

She thinks she's quite funny, as a matter of fact.

Arthur Pendragon

Arthur watched the wagon slowly hobble along the track as he drove. Slowly. Slowly.

Well, now he knew why they called it a wagon. It was about that slow.

Not killing or strangling them left out Arthur's two favourite options, which meant he was going to have to settle for the third option. "If any of you say another word," he informed the back of the bus, stopping it momentarily, halfway down the track, "I will personally throw you off this bus."

There was a short silence.

And then one of the kids piped up, "CAN I SEE YOUR SWORD?"

"ARE YOU AN ACTUAL KNIGHT?"

"SWORD! SWORD!"

Arthur was going to brain himself with the steering wheel. Just you wait.

At last! Motorcycles!

Which were... slightly more difficult to handle than Arthur had anticipated. Don't worry. He'd figure it out.

Or possibly make Katchoo teach him at gunpoint.

MY STATION WAGONS (all three of them that I've had over the course of 18 years including the Taurus I have now) PROTEST.

You can crank those babies up to some scary highway speeds, dude.

Alex Russo

Alex knew the moment she got in the wagon that she was never, ever going to get a car like this for herself.

She took it slowly, willing the vehicle to make it around the track without falling apart.

Harper Finkle

Alex knew she wasn't allowed to kill or strangle the children on the bus, but no one had said anything about silencing them for the ride. What would a little muting spell hurt?

Gripping the steering wheel as tightly as she could, Alex stared straight ahead as she drove down the track. She was sorely tempted to use that spell, otherwise she might go crazy before they reached the end of the track.

Alex might have been a little excited about trying out a motorcycle. Her dad would flip if he ever found out, which is why she was never telling him.

Alex took her time figuring the motorcycle out. She didn't want to hurt herself trying to take it around the track.

Ellie Bartowski

Leda

Sadly, Leda had seen older vehicles on the road in B-Town. "It just needs some modifications." she said. "Now, where's the fast lane? I want to drive some people crazy."

Leda ignored the little bastards as long as she could. But when the constant chatter, and jokes about her being a Fairy escalated to one of them grabbing her ears, she put her foot down.

Literally.

"Red light!"

*screeeech!*

"Sit down, just in case that happens again."

Leda had watched enough people use Motorcycles in her time to know the basics. And she picked up more as she went.

Oh yeah. She knew what she was asking for for Christmas.
