Library - Saturday [9/26]

George wasn't near an expert on libraries, but over the last few weeks, he'd learned a few things about them.  One was that books went on shelves.

Which was the reason he was completely puzzled that when he started to put books away and do the other library aide tasks, he was finding fruit on the shelves.  Books too, yes, but all around the books - laid on top, set on the ends of the row, even in a few awfully messy but quickly cleaned up cases, under the books - there was a veritable fruit salad.

He filled the cart with fruit and took it back to dump on the front desk - the cherries were set to the side because they were George's absolute favourite - then went back for more.

Anyone coming into the library would probably find themselves the winner of a giant fruit basket.

She sighed. "They have cues to learn. We're putting on a play."
officetightass: (that didn't sound good)

"They're very talented," she said proudly.

She took a moment to skim the row, and complained, "I don't see any on costumes!"
officetightass: (read the body language)

"And how would that work? Humans don't have two pairs of legs," she said, like this should be obvious. "I'll try the bookstore."
officetightass: (give me a moment to consider)

"I guess an apple couldn't hurt." Though she might wash it herself later. Just to make sure someone did it right.
officetightass: (as neutral as i can get)

He came up with that apple fast. "This is enough. Thank you."
