After ~~handwavily~~ informing the class to bring their babies on to class, Deadpool was positively bouncing around.

"The bond between a boy--or girl--or tenticular elder god crammed into a meat puppet--and their sword is a sacred one. Yin to your yang, Oreo to your milk, the winner combo of the Jays on America's Next Top Model," Deadpool said, twirling one of his babies like he was in Glee Club.

...they needed a Glee Club here.

He'd be on that like white on rice, baby.

"So today we'll be talkin' about our weapons of choice! And how we take care of it in the long nights when it just needs to be sharpened and oiled and properly cleaned like the naughty little things they are--"

Okay, that could be considered just a bit dirty.

"--I mean, tell everyone about your weaponry! Think of this as... the Miss Inter-Dimensional Weapon Pageant. Who will win? Will there be a talent portion of the contest?!"

No. No there would not be.

"So jump on in and say why your weapon is better than everyone else's. Argue like the dickens, baby. But nothing more than that or I will make your like a living hell and Anakin seem like the nicest guy on island, got it?" Deadpool clapped happily. "Lets get going!"

"I don't have my own sword yet," Turtle admitted. "But I am looking into getting one. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them and place them into consideration. Thank you."

Zack smiled and waved at Turtle.

"If you're new with swords and don't have a whole lot in the way of upper body strength, you might want to look into one of the lighter types, like a rapier, or a katana. I've been showing Jen with a rapier, because broadswords like mine are just way too much, you know? Plus, they're made for short, fast strokes, which are a lot easier to control than the big, sweeping ones you have to make with mine."

"What about...like....a scimitar?" Turtle asked, considering Zack's advice carefully and mostly just throwing that out because scimitar was a cool word.

Somehow, she had a feeling that Mr. Deadpool would approve of this method of deduction.

Zack blinked, and then mulled that over for a moment. Actually, that was a cool word. And he couldn't find a reason to say no, really.

"I don't see why not!" A beat. A grin. "And if you get really into it, you can do part-time gigs as a pirate around work!"

"Well," Turtle laughed a little, "they do say that business is just another form of piracy, anyway, right? You're really teaching Jen how to use a sword, though?"

Which was maybe Turtle's casual way of expressing that she might not be too disinterested in...sword lessons from Zack...

"Sure am!" Oh, was Zack doing that bragging thing again? The thing he did where he puffed up his chest a little and looked all proud of himself? "I mean, I probably couldn't teach her half as well as Deadpool can, but I'm willing to give it a try. It's good for discipline, you know?"

Turtle felt there should be more of that bragging, chest puffing thing with Zack. It was pretty.

"Oh, totally," Turtle said, her head bobbing in a nod. "Is it very taxing on you? I mean, in the case that someone else might want more practice and training, would you consider taking on other students?"

Hypothetically, of course.

"Are you kidding? I love doing it, Turtle!" Zack grinned and bounced a little. Yes, with his chest still puffed out like that. He was happy and manly. "I'd make time for anyone who was interested in learning!"

"Well." Really, it was impossible not to giggle a little bit around Zack. Not with that enthusiasm. "If I do get my scimitar and find I'd like a little extra guidance, you'll be the first I come to then."

"Maybe we could go shopping together," Claire suggested. "I was thinking about getting one too."

"Shopping for swords," Turtle said with a grin. "Now that could be interesting!"
