Physical Films | Period 3 | Class 1
When students arrived, they would find the Danger Shop was set up like a traditional gymnasium, complete with changing rooms and really high ceilings. Along the walls were several large screens and most of the gym floor was covered in thick blue mats.
Once it seemed everyone had arrived, the man at the front of the room wearing far too much leather crossed his arms and started talking. "This is Physical Films and I'm Ronon Dex. They say I should share somethin' about myself so, uh, I'm a Satedan, from another galaxy that's really far from here. I'm stuck on Earth by choice an' teachin' you guys for fun," Ronon informed them, grinning because it was his entertainment most days. "Now, this class is both film study and P.E., so most weeks you'll watch a movie or show while you get fit. Sometimes the movie'll make sense, sometimes it won't." At least, not to Ronon.
"Only thing you gotta do each class is put on a uniform and try the activity. If you can't do it, see me. If you won't do it, we'll find you somethin' else. Today, you're all gonna fill out this paper thing," he held up an example, "and attach them to the front of your shirts before making some introductions. Now, go get your uniforms and we'll get started." He thumbed over his shoulder to the locker room doors.

Re: Activity | PF1
It was a very mute mouthing, and his brow furrowed with concentration. He gave Kyle a friendly smile to top it off.
Re: Activity | PF1
Yes, folks, Eric Matthews was a genius.
Re: Activity | PF1
Well, can't might have been assuming rather a lot about Jak's silence, but he was willing to let it go. He crossed his arms, and nodded firmly. Confidence? He was the picture of it.
...Then he uncrossed them, because he had to finish deciphering the writing on Eric's paper. Out came the cheat sheet again. That poor sheet was going to be fully crumpled and torn before the week was done, at the rate Jak was using it.
Re: Activity | PF1
He watched Jak's slow going interpretation. "Oh! Maybe I can read your mind!"
No, no he couldn't.
Re: Activity | PF1
Sigh, Jak.
Re: Activity | PF1
And promptly got a thinking cramp.
"Ow ow ow thinking cramp thinking crap!"
Re: Activity | PF1
He made a gesture of concern. And might have gaped. Just a little. Yes. Gaping.
Re: Activity | PF1
Or, you know, ever.
Re: Activity | PF1
Re: Activity | PF1
[*facepalms* sorry, thought I replied]
Re: Activity | PF1
Could Eric hear him now?
Re: Activity | PF1
"What's your name?" he asked.
Because clearly if Jak couldn't speak or write English, he would be able to answer the question, right?
Re: Activity | PF1
He produced it from his pocket. Triumphantly.
Re: Activity | PF1
Uh, give him a moment. He might be able to decipher the smudges. Maybe.
