BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]
Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.
So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

Whatever was in that was pretty much everything he knew about the school they were about to go to. The boy he'd just spoken to had said it lied, of course. It looked far too much like a normal school, or something of the sort.

//Especially for a class with two years left,// he offered. Warily. //I'm a junior as well, from the look of it.//

"Oh! Should I think back at you, or talk with my mouth?" she asked.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
//With yer mouth, if yer please,// he replied. //I can't read thoughts, but my ears work just fine, luv. This only works one-way.//

She smiled, that settled. "So we'll be in the same grade, huh? I'm Didi."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
That was... more or less an invitation to call him Jono as well, yes.

It was because Dream was pretentious like unto a pretentious thing that was pretentious. The other Endless easily adjusted their accents when they walked among the living.
"Good to know you aren't like that."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
He'd made a brief attempt at pretending to be normal, but that was a different matter entirely.

He hesitated for a moment before throwing together a reply.
//Eighteen years old. British, as yer already aware. Got a bit of an obsession with music- Yer oughta' see my collection of records, luv. Well-travelled, I suppose. If yer count Britain, America, and Ireland for a short spell.//
He was enjoying this banter too much.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
//I've got me a suspicion that 'complicated' is bound to be a trend in this school,// he noted, his tone in that moment entirely too tired before he pulled himself back to that other topic. Music. Music was good. Music was safe. //Any favourite band?//

The pamphlet. The one that was horribly inaccurate, if Cal's word was to be believed. Given that people weren't running from him screaming, he was willing to give the boy the benefit of the doubt on that matter.
