BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]
Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.
So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
"Woah! I just read your mind!"
Oh, Eric.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
//Looks like yer did,// Jono decided. Hey, better this pillock be considered the freak than him, right? //Best not be broadcastin' that around, hm? Never know what people might think of yer.//

Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Jono could. That was probably one of the less appealing parts of the job, actually.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Apparently he had selective listening even telepathically.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
//Now I've half a mind to ask what yer would be doin' as a superhero, now that we know yer can read the mind of one stranger while waitin' for the bus.//
Only half a mind. If he really, really wanted to know, he probably would have found himself questioning his own sanity.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
No, Eric, that would be you.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
This wasn't just an American thing, was it? This boy was actually, really that slow? How did he make it to the terminal without a stewardess holding his hand?
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Being really cute probably had something to do with his continued survival.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Jono was almost sad about that. Or, at least, he would have been if this twonk was actually able to read minds in the first place. There were just moments when you had to stop and visualize the dumb ones making absolute arses of themselves in capes and bright spandex.

Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Hey, he might as well have fun with the guy.

"Nice to meet you, Jonothon."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Which really should explain a lot.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle!
Oh, it explained so much.
