Sam had gotten into research mode as he'd headed to the library for his shift. Between looking for more people like himself - those who had been visited by Yellow Eyes, although he still didn't know if there really were any - and now trying to find out anything he could about Castiel, he had plenty to do and thankfully, plenty of time in which to do it.

Dean had spent the morning out detailing the impala. If there had been a one sided conversation happening as he did so, he wasn't about to admit to. Finding the unfamiliar cassette in the car's player queued to "Shut Up and Drive" had made him laugh for a good five minutes. His girl had a sense of humor.

So he was in a really good mood when he headed into the library with lunch for him and his brother.

Sam was still in a fairly good mood, despite how bad he felt after his conversation with Arthur. "Hey," he said, with a nod to Dean. "How's it going?"

"Can't complain," Dean said, settling into his usual chair and tossing Sammy a sandwich. "You?"

Sam shrugged. "I'm okay. I haven't run into our new friend in a few days," he said, his discussion with Castiel still fresh in his mind.

"Me either, though it's not like I've gone looking," Dean said. "Is that pie?"

Sam smirked and pushed the pie over to Dean. "I'm sticking with what I know you like."

"Dude, you didn't see Ned's pie," Dean said. "Could almost give my baby a run for her money in the hot department. Almost."

"What do you--did his pie turn into a girl?" Sam asked.

"Mm hmmm." Dean smiled at the memory.

"Dean, tell me you didn't sleep with Ned's pie."

"Dude, I'm shocked," Dean said. "I'd never do that to my Baby."

"You just sounded like...I don't know, you were having dirty thoughts," Sam explained.

"I was," Dean said easily. "If my baby hadn't shown up, who knows what would've happened?"

"I would have mocked you forever for sleeping with a pie, that's what would have happened," Sam said.

"You didn't see her," Dean said with a leering grin.

Sam rolled his eyes. "You need help, Dean. Some kind of sex therapy or something."

Dean gave him a look. "Dude, you only go to sex therapy if you have problems having sex. So not a problem for me."

"Or you start screwing otherwise inanimate objects," Sam said. "I never thought I'd say this, but I wish Alec was here."

"Yeah," Dean sighed regretfully. "A threesome would've been awesome."

Sam stared at Dean and nearly visibly facepalmed. "That's not at all what I meant, and you know it."

Dean shrugged. "It's what would've happened though."

"Why can't you just sleep with normal people?" Sam asked. "It's just...it's weird to think about anything else."

"That would be hypocritical of me, don't you think?" Dean asked. "We're hunters, Sammy. That's not exactly making us poster boys for normality."
