Criminal Justice: Wednesday [June 3rd]

When the students arrived at the Danger shop today they'll find that it had been transformed into full service car wash.

"I'm switching things up on our syllabus today," Gibbs said sipping his coffee. "Today we're going to be learning how to capture a fugitive. Half of you will be the fugitives, the rest of you are the chasers. When we've done one round then we'll switch. If you need to know who this is done then we'll give you an example."

Turning around to look at his TA's, he pointed at Buffy. "Summers. Arrest Skywalker for murder. Feel free to rough him up."

When that little demonstration was done Gibbs then went on to do a demonstration on how to handcuff a suspect.

Finally Gibbs read off the following list of names:

Buffy Summers
Alice Liddell
Chie Satonaka
Dinah Lance
Helen Haras-Uquara
Jennifer Walters
Liz Sherman
Merlin
Rachel Roth
T.R. Wexler
Zayne Carrick

"This group is the first group of fugitives," Gibbs called out. "If your name was not read off then you need to start chasing and arresting people. NOW!"

[ooc: OCD is up! Setting is a car wash with all the appropriate items. "Fugitives" can try and run through/hide in the car wash or cars or anything else around the car wash.]

Ben took off running immediately.

He...wasn't slow. At all.

Buffy ran clear across Sunnydale all the time, so chasing after a fast kid wasn't at all a problem. It actually felt weird to not have a stake in hand or something, but that would probably be frowned upon.

Rose was totally cheering Ben on. And being impressed at the handcuffs. Guardians never got to play with handcuffs. It was so unfair.

Zayne watched the chase with interest. He was totally just trying to spot how Ben might use the Force to help him escape. He didn't have a problem with stealing any of that.

Normally Griff wouldn't stare so much at the demonstration, but that Buffy girl sure could run. Well.

Jennifer paid close attention, even if she'd seen her father do this sort of thing before. She really didn't like the idea of getting handcuffed herself, though.

Momoko was used to chasing down suspects, but wow, Ben and Buffy were fast! And very funny to listen to. The handcuffing... looked way harder than she'd always thought.

Helen took off running through the car wash. Though she had this strange feeling that should a good looking guy try to catch her... she just might be inclined to let him.

Zayne took off running. This was one thing that he was good at. People always seemed to have a tough time catching him.

The fact that he was going to cheat and use the Force to buy himself some time by jumping onto the roof of the car wash probably helped.

Dinah turned and ran for the office, figuring if she could make it there and lock herself in, she could keep anyone from arresting her for half the class period. Always assuming a) she got there and b) no one could break those locks. Hmm. Barricade?

Jennifer took off, hoping that the best defense would be to find somewhere small she could hide and not be seen.

For now, though, she just ran.

Whoooo, Turtle'd never been a fugitive before....well, those few times didn't count, because no one was really hunting her down for those minor infractions, one of which she wasn't even really guilty of. But, either way, she took off for the car wash, with only a fleeting thought that she wished she hadn't worn white today.

Dinah looked around for the now-fugitive former-cops, circling the area.

Ben was completely soaked, which was why he'd taken his cloak and outer shirts off and was ringing them out.

He kept his undertunic on--he was a little self-conscious about the scars on his back--but he was there for anyone to try to hide behind or something.

I am so snickering about the fact that Jen's PB is... rather used to being a fugitive :D
