Criminal Justice: Wednesday [June 3rd]

When the students arrived at the Danger shop today they'll find that it had been transformed into full service car wash.

"I'm switching things up on our syllabus today," Gibbs said sipping his coffee. "Today we're going to be learning how to capture a fugitive. Half of you will be the fugitives, the rest of you are the chasers. When we've done one round then we'll switch. If you need to know who this is done then we'll give you an example."

Turning around to look at his TA's, he pointed at Buffy. "Summers. Arrest Skywalker for murder. Feel free to rough him up."

When that little demonstration was done Gibbs then went on to do a demonstration on how to handcuff a suspect.

Finally Gibbs read off the following list of names:

Buffy Summers
Alice Liddell
Chie Satonaka
Dinah Lance
Helen Haras-Uquara
Jennifer Walters
Liz Sherman
Merlin
Rachel Roth
T.R. Wexler
Zayne Carrick

"This group is the first group of fugitives," Gibbs called out. "If your name was not read off then you need to start chasing and arresting people. NOW!"

[ooc: OCD is up! Setting is a car wash with all the appropriate items. "Fugitives" can try and run through/hide in the car wash or cars or anything else around the car wash.]

When he didn't come out, Buffy sighed. Of course.

"I can wait all day- all class period, you know," she called. "I do this all the time, you know. I go in there, you jump me, and I'm not trying o ruin another shirt."

Ben wasn't going to do anything dumb like reply so she could figure out where he was, which was trying to sneak out the way he'd come in.

If Buffy did anything, it was get close enough to look around to see if she could see him. When she didn't, she figured her safest bit would be to go the other way. He could probably tell which direction her voice came from anyway, so she headed his way.
momslilassassin: (Ben: I am drenched wtf)

Ben froze where he was hiding in the weird blue stripey things hanging from the ceiling.

He really wanted to know what the hell the purpose of this building was. He was drenched and covered in soap now, so he could guess, but it seemed a really weird place to catch a fugitive.

He was sure that Buffy wasn't going to just get bored and wander away, which didn't leave him a lot of options.

He looked around for a water hose. Mmm. Distraction. Using the Force, he yanked the hose towards him, then checked to see where Buffy was.

He counted ten, then shot the water at where he thought she would be.

Later, she might be glad for that, actually. But that kind of thought came after the hunting. Right now she was just going to give one of those startled screams and announce, "Okay, that's it. No more Ms. Nice Buffy."

Ben's lips quirked up in a smile. "This was nice?" he asked.

"...Relatively. Look, it's an expression. Get down here."

"Have you ever met a reasonable fugitive?" Ben countered. "No."

"Just start running so we can set a good example for the class," Buffy suggested.

"Fine," Ben said with a sigh. "You'll never catch me, seccer!" he cried (because that's what they all cried), flipping down from his perch and racing at an angle away from Buffy.

"Can't be original there?" Buffy muttered to herself, then took off running again after him, trying for faster this time.
momslilassassin: (Ben: lost little boy)

He was weighed down by his sodden robe, so she was definitely gaining ground. "Not good," he muttered. She was fast.
