Art of Seduction [Wednesday, Period Four]
Once again class was held at the main campfire. The first thing the students would have noticed on arriving was a trestle table set up with various flowers, fans and leaflets.
"Today, we're going to be covering flirting," Bond began once the class had arrived. "The ability to flirt and to recognise when you are being flirted with in turn is one of the more valuable life skills you can acquire. ... all right, his name and his bearing were misleading, but that was hardly particular to Emma. And you had much less fun if you told everyone that you were a former servant boy from Prague than if you let them believe you were a young English gentleman, or so Jack's theory ran.

In truth, he was at school because Sebastien would be executed if he was caught out as a vampire, and Jack being underage made them that much likely to draw the notice of gossips. But that was hardly something to bring up when one was flirting.

It wasn't really a secret, not with that insane clown on the radio, but Emma wasn't exactly waving it around town on a flag.

Then he deliberately decided this was interesting. Odd, but interesting, and most likely harmless. His face was placid after he took a second to compose it.
"Better than you might think," he answered aloud in a soft voice. "You are a curious one, aren't you, Miss Frost?"

Besides, his tone conveyed everything quite nicely.
"Language, Mr. Priest," she replied with a smirk. "Do you usually use such colorful vocabulary around a lady?"
"But I'm no sorceress, although you're the second person to think so." Emma smiled slightly. "Or if I am, I am a very poor one indeed, and severely lacking in the hex department."

"If someone is actually interesting?" Emma's smirk turned slightly shark-like. "Well, I do so love a good scandal before breakfast. Or decent stock market tips."

He couldn't argue the bit about sex, though in Jack's brain it was mingled rather heavily with other things.
