Since the area with all the informational signs was bound to get a bit clogged up, even more tables and chairs had been set up on the lawn, in a slightly different spot.

"Is," Firekeeper nodded, inwardly pleased that he hadn't assumed Blind Seer was a dog. "Named Blind Seer. And I am Blysse."

"Good to meet you both," he replied, hoping the wolf wasn't going to talk but half expecting it. "I'm Griff, new, obviously."

He did talk, just not in any language Griff was likely to understand. "Obviously," she repeated. "No trouble, so far?"

"Just your run-of-the-mill space aliens whose boyfriends sound like me somehow and girls with hats that could possibly take over the world." Griff paused, realizing he was rambling again. "Sorry, it's a little new."

Well, she had no idea who the girl with the hat was, but "space aliens whose boyfriends sound like me" made her frown in thought for a moment. "You meet Tahiri?" she guessed. "I too finded much about this place strange when I first comed here. It get better."

That was a familiar name and he had to think for a second before it clicked which of the many faces he'd met belonged to it. "Tahiri, yeah, she's the short one with the boyfriend--I gather this place is smaller than it seems, even with all the oddness."

"She is very good friend of mine," Firekeeper explained. "I often think there is too many people here, but others say is not so," she shrugged. "Different thoughts on what number make 'too many'."

"I can understand that," Griff agreed. "I might've spoken to more people just today than in the past year." Life in the Hole was pretty quiet.
