Since the area with all the informational signs was bound to get a bit clogged up, even more tables and chairs had been set up on the lawn, in a slightly different spot.

Eleanor was beginning to tire of all the activity. Though the portal and shuttle trip had been short, almost over too soon for her liking, it still had been a two-weeks boat journey for her to get here.

She had some tea and was idly munching on some cheese, trying to keep from looking too weary.

"Hi!" Turtle gave the other girl a smile and a little wave. "Welcome to Fandom High! I'm Turtle Wexler."

"It's good to meet you, Eleanor," Turtle said. "You settling in okay so far?"

"As well as one can, I suppose," she replied, some of the tiredness slipping in there. "It's a rather bit overwhelming," she admitted.

"Just remember," Turtle said, "to take it good and easy and slow. Go with the flow. That sort of thing. It's a pretty overwhelming place."

"That does seems like a good approach," she nodded, a slight yawn slipping out. "Perhaps it will be more managable after sleep," she grinned a little.

"Two weeks by vessel from England," she nodded. "...and a trip through time apparently." Which she was still both curious and uncertain about.

"Oooof," said Turtle, and she felt that covered it pretty nicely. "Yeah. I'm surprised you're not already napping."

"It is tempting," she smirked. "Instead, I think I shall settle for napping in my room once all this," she waved at the picnic, "is over."
