Since the area with all the informational signs was bound to get a bit clogged up, even more tables and chairs had been set up on the lawn, in a slightly different spot.

"I just like hearing you confirm the fact that you need me," Chuck said, unable to keep from sliding his hand up Blair's side as he spoke.

"Sounds like that means you need me," Blair pointed out. Ignore how she still wasn't shoving Chuck's hand away. It meant nothing, really.

"I'll admit that having you around does make certain things in life easier," Chuck allowed. That was about the closest he was going to get to admitting she was right.

"So long as you acknowledge the truth," Blair said. She wasn't wondering if having her around also made certain things harder. Or at least, she wasn't wondering that out loud.

"I like to give credit where credit is due," Chuck said. "Of course if you'd like me to thank you a different way I'm sure we could arrange something. Could continue what we started in the bar for instance..."

"You making me drinks?" Blair replied, with an innocense that made it clear she was being deliberately obtuse. Mostly to see how Chuck would react.

"If that's what'll get you in the mood then, sure, we can start with that," Chuck said, smirking.

"Feel free to pamper and dote on me at any time," Blair told him. Which actually would get her in the mood, but that was beside the point.

"You plan on doting on me in return?" he asked.

"Serving me is it's own reward," Blair told him.

She felt that was true regardless of who was doing the serving.

Chuck laughed lightly. "Physical rewards are so much more fun though, don't you think?"

"That remains to be seen," Blair reminded Chuck. Nevermind how this meant she was now implying that this would happen at some point, instead of denying it was even a possibility.

"I'll keep it in mind," Blair said. She then went to go mingle more - and give Chuck another view of her backside - because that's the kind of person she was.
