Since the area with all the informational signs was bound to get a bit clogged up, even more tables and chairs had been set up on the lawn, in a slightly different spot.

Another one of those excessively cheerful ones. Wonderful. Effy had about had her fill with Maron earlier.

"Hi," Effy returned, at least able to be that polite. She could've just looked at her, which would not been at all out of character on her part.

Not a whole lot to go off of, sure, but Turtle was an expert conversationalist, she firmly believed that.

"How's it going?" she continued. "Did you have a good trip here?"

Maybe Turtle's expertise would counter balance Effy's complete lack? Maybe.

"Ten hour flight and bad food," she said simply. "... It could've been better." Understatement, really.
