Movie Appreciation: Week 15, Period 3 (Fri. 4/24)

The final was not on From Justin to Kelly. Did Ronon look that cruel? No.

Instead there was a full (and free) concession stand in the Danger Shop auditorium when students arrived and a professor standing up front with a stack of papers. "Okay, it's final exam time. You guys suffered well through last week's horror, so today there's snacks and a showing of Visitor. My team back home is a big on this one." Other than the chick who had the nightmares of Teyla's unborn child being a Wraith and ripping out of her stomach. But we could all forget her easily.

"Seniors, good luck next weekend and onward. Everybody else, I'll see you in the fall."

As far as last classes ever, John could deal with this lack of class.

Claudia was bummed. She'd totally liked that movie!

For perhaps the first time ever, Rodney looked at Dex with something akin to respect. A classic science fiction film. And snacks. For once, he could be pleased with this class.

Adam was going to miss this class. A lot.

Sokka knew he could count on Ronon. He didn't take this class expecting to have to deal with a FINAL. Still, he pumped his fist in the air in celebration.

Peter sat back and watched the movie, glad that his last class and final weren't going to be that painful after all.

Peyton grabbed some popcorn and a soda and settled in to watch the movie.

Sometime in the near future when his niece is being born, Emmett is going to look back upon this movie. Look back and laugh because WOW does the alien ripping out of the guy's chest hit close to home.

But right now he was just enjoying himself.

Dean happily grabbed a soda, popcorn and a bunch of candy and settled in to watch.

There was nothing like the classics.

As his final class ever this was pretty cool.

Best last final ever.

Angela snagged popcorn and settled down to watch, all ready to cover her eyes at gore. She liked her appetite, thank you.

Romeo was too distracted by thoughts of home to pay much attention to the movie; he was just glad it wasn't that thing from last week. He let the film lay out in front of him as he thought about the choice he'd have to make.

Gwynn was both disturbed and fascinated by the movie. She was careful not to eat anything while she was watching it.

Penelope settled back to watch the movie, complete with a bowl of popcorn (with M&M's), and a soda.

Horror films weren't as much fun to watch without someone to leap on top of at the icky parts, Claudia decided.

It wasn't stopping her from chowing down on popcorn and M&Ms, though.

Woo! No Justin & Kelly! Dinah settled in with her candy and popcorn with enormous relief, and threw M&M's in the air to catch in her mouth even during the stomach-ripping bits.

Robin, was not watching the movie. He was hiding under the seat, facing away from the screen and covering his ears.

Rodney was ignoring the fact that the last time he'd watched this movie he'd puked. It was totally a coincidence and had nothing at all to do with the scene where the creature explodes from that guy's gut.

Really.

If Rodney happens to be looking away from that part this time... well, that's just because he's having trouble opening his M&Ms.

Adam sat back and took in the movie, having grabbed some popcorn to munch on. Best last final/last class ever.

Good movie! Even if Tony thought the sequel was better.
