Library [04/22]

Sam had managed to wake up before his alarm for once, and when he couldn't go back to sleep, he got up and just started his day early. He got to the library with plenty of time to spare, even with the coffee and muffin he'd stopped to get on the way.

Peter let himself get pulled into a hug. "Hey! I'm glad I'm here too."

With Peter close like that, Sam couldn't resist the urge to nuzzle Peter's neck. "Mmmm, really really glad."

Well not like Peter was going to turn down a little nuzzling, assuming said nuzzling came from his boyfriend. He tilted his head to give Sam more to work with. "Suddenly, so am I."

"You're here and you're nice and--donuts! You brought donuts," Sam said, all thoughts of nuzzling temporarily forgotten as he went for the food.

"As always," Peter said. He handed the donuts over. Trying to figure out why Sam was more into food than nuzzling, he guessed, "You skip lunch?"

"No, Dean brought me a burger. I don't know, I'm just really hungry," Sam said, before taking a donut and nearly getting the whole thing into his mouth.

Peter watched that, then said, "Should've brought you a crueller."

"Why?" Sam asked, slightly muffled by the food.

"Mostly the visual," Peter replied.

Slowly but surely, Sam realized what Peter meant. "That's dirty," he said, giggling.

"You're the one shoving things into his mouth," Peter replied with a grin. "I'm just making suggestions."

"I told you, I'm hungry," Sam said with another giggle. "And I can't put anything dirty in my mouth 'cause we're in the library. Even though that's kind of hot."

"Your boyfriend does turn invisible," Peter pointed out.

"But you don't like books," Sam said matter-of-factly, taking another donut. "You don't like being here as much as I do, and that's okay, but it means I'm not gonna ask you to be dirty with me here."

"Sam I'll be dirty with you pretty much anywhere," Peter said, noting Sam's apparent lust for donuts. "Maybe not in front of your brother but if the location has you and has me I'm good to go."

"Really? Anywhere?" Sam asked, before devouring the donut, hesitating for a moment before grabbing another. That opened up a lot of possibilities.

"Anywhere," Peter promised. He watched Sam with interest. "You okay there?"

Sam nodded. "Francine gave me brownies, and Chuck said they had oregano, but Dean said it wasn't really oregano and I have the munchies, but I think I'm just hungry." Peter deserved a good recap of the day, after all.

Peter didn't giggle, honest. "Oh man. Well that would explain why you're more into food than me."

"I'm always into you!" Sam said, licking the sugar off of his latest donut. "You just don't taste as good sometimes."

"I could eat more pineapple," Peter said, dryly.

When Sam figured out what Peter meant, he blushed bright red and laughed. "That's not what I meant!"

"Just checking," Peter said. He sipped his coffee. "I'd ask if you were okay but I'm thinking you're feeling fine."

"I'm really fine," he said, setting the donut down and licking his fingers before leaning closer to Peter. "You're the best ever for bringing me food."

"I'm also the best ever because I'm going to keep an eye on you so you don't do anything stupid while you're baked," Peter told him. If that meant Peter would have to watch Sam do things like lick his fingers, well darn.
