Ethics [Tuesday, April 21, 2nd period]
"Welcome to your Ethics final," Anakin said, pacing around the classroom. "I will provide you with a series of scenarios. You tell me which option you would pick, and why. Since this is Ethics, there are no black and white correct answers to anything. What matters to me is that you have some sort of reason for your choice."
He might have glanced toward Marco. "If your logic is faulty or snide or clearly half-assed, that's when I will become...unhappy."

Scenario #2 [Ethics]
a) Make the most of the time you have left.
b) Look frantically for a cure. If this means doing unsavory things for slightly creepy people, so be it.
c) Like I'd ever get married. Here's how I see it going...
d) None of the above
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
Of course for Dor it meant going to see Good Magician Humfrey again and probably having to wash his socks.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
Luckily the answer was an obvious one.
c) She's probably being dramatic because she wants money or something. If she dies, she dies. If she lives then we'll do a DNA test for the kid and go from there.
He was going to fail this test, wasn't he?
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
Ino was... not winning empathy points. Ino did not care.

In the extremely unlikely event that I got my lover pregnant (I'm gay), then I'd terminate the pregnancy to save his life. I've never expected to have biological children anyway. If we want to raise children together, we can adopt. There are plenty of unwanted kids who need homes.
Tony wasn't going to acknowledge that in Fandom, something like that could happen. Just - no. Despite being here for two semesters, his brain was not up to considering that scenario.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
A. People die.
If that answer happened to clash with his previous one, well, the boy had issues.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
I would do my best to find a cure, but there's a limit. Sometimes you need to accept the will of the Force and just be there for them, moving into a). But searching for a cure would be my first step.

Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
If my life was in danger from a pregnancy, I would terminate it if possible.
Joan might have images of certain children in her mind though.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
D. I ask her what she wants to do. Its her life, and her child, so its her decision. Even if it's all really depressing.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
d.
First, the consequences need to be examined. Prescience is never an easy matter, and the paths of options can be tangled. But, if this is truly the right path, despite the cost to ourselves, then making the most of the time left and honour what has been is the right choice.
But what is the right path? That, then, becomes the real question, as whatever it will be, the cost is likely to be higher than we would like.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
Semi-b? I'd try to find a cure, but it'd depend on the unsavory things. If it's random murder then probably not. If it was stealing then maybe.
Abortion's an option, but my partner's opinion on the matter would get a bigger vote than mine. Regardless I'd support them in what they wanted.
Also I'd want to know why Sam never mentioned he had a uterus.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
(A). I've been resolved to my death for a while now, so this would do little but shorten the clock by a year or so.
Re: Scenario #2 [Ethics]
She didn't have the courage to do it herself, honestly.
