"Well, guys, it's our last class," Dana said once the bell had rung. The room was arranged in the studio setup, the equipment was out and ready, and Dana was all set to see how they did. "You've all listened and done the work and really that's all a teacher can ask for, aside from you doing the work well. Which, to be fair, you've all done, or at least no one's screwed up so bad that I noticed, which is something to be praised in itself. It's been a pleasure, hopefully you've learned something, now go make your show."

Hannibal was milling around, making sure he wasn't going out there dry mouthed or anything. He wanted to be sharp.

"Hey, Hannibal," Dinah said, just a little wired.

Or a lot.

"Here's the script, um, #1 should be #4, but otherwise, I think I left space for you to, you know, banter or improv or whatever." Dinah peered at her own notes, biting her lower lip. "I have more? If you think it needs it?"

Hannibal took the script and skimmed it quickly. If he had some words, he could fill in the blanks.

He hoped.

"Nah, if we need to fill time, I'll tease Adora," he said, smiling. "This looks good, though. You got a background in this sort of thing?"

"Really? Noooo. Thanks," Dinah said, beaming at him. "But I figured, scores, weirdness, human interest, right? I checked it five times for errors, but if there's anything else, I guess Jenny will let you guys know." She blew out a breath. "You ready? You seem ready."

"Hey, Hannibal," said Turtle, shifting her notecards to her one specifically for him. "How's it going? Feeling ready for this?"

"Good, good," Turtle nodded. "And smile a lot. You've got a good smile. Really cater to the probably minuscule female audience we'll have. Now, Dinah said that she told you something about switching #1 and #4 on the script? Well, we talked about it, and don't. Keep it as is. We're gonna save the weird stuff for later, because people like that, and they'll stay tuned for it, so try to work in a build-up for it at the beginning, yeah?"

Whaaaat? It wouldn't be a real life experience if there weren't people telling the poor anchors conflicting things, here.

Turtle, of course, had notes. She was going over them and sorting out the little mini-notes she had for everyone else. She was the director here. She was only going to accept excellence.

Or, she was at least going to kindly request excellence and hope for the best.

"Got the script done," Dinah said, handing it over to Turtle. "I think maybe Item #1 should be #4? But otherwise, I think it's pretty good. I have more if we run short, though."

"Oooh, very nice," Turtle said with a nod, taking the script and giving it a good look-over. "Nice work, Dinah. And, actually, I like how it's lined up, I think. I mean, people like the weird stuff; if we put it later, people will stay tuned to get to it, you know?"

"Hmm, good point," Dinah said, making a note on her copy, and sending it to the teleprompter. "I'll just-- hang out. Be ready. Someone should tell the anchors, I told Hannibal it might be switched." She gave Turtle a jittery smile. "Finals. Weird to be psyched for one."

Claire didn't have anything to do until after the final, so she just sat back and watched everybody milling around.

"Hey, Claire," Turtle was hunting down everyone. She was, after all, the di-rec-tor, so she had to direct. "You're editing, right?"

Claire nodded, glancing up warily at Turtle. She had a fear this was going to mean work.

"Anything you want me to watch for when I'm editing?"

Turtle flipped through her notecards a moment until she found Claire's, and handed it over. "Just a few," she said. "Nothing real flashy. Keep it simple. That sort of thing. Try to be able to cut it so it's equal parts Hannibal, Adora, and together."

Jack was making sure everything was ready. Anything needing researching? He was all about it. Otherwise, he'd be making sure his desk didn't float away by keeping his feet on it.

Robin had found a ladder which he'd set up near the camera. Now he was making sure it was pointed the right way and the focus was right.
